Sport fishing is a sport that, in Casentino, is performed in lakes and rivers all of which are bountiful in this valley. The "No-Kill" regulation is a regulation adopted especially in the so-called "a salmonidi" waters which requires that each fish that is caught is then released. The true sport fisherman is respectful of these regulations (minimum sizes, fishing bans, endangered fish, etc.) and of nature itself. For many sport fishermen, in fact, the fishing environment plays an essential role in their passion, at times even more than the actual catch.
